The fun ship part two...

So Ryan is going to kill me when he sees that I have put this picture on the blog. But I just don't understand how people can fall asleep in the sun. I mean it's like 9000 degrees out, my eyeballs feel like they are going to burn out of my head and my scalp is one fire. I just think it's odd. Don't get me wrong I love laying out and soaking up the rays, but I am more of a book reader/gawker, not a napper.

Our second stop was St. Thomas. One word...gorgeous. Some people are so fortunate. Someday I hope to live in a place like this off my credit card. The incurred debt would be totally worth it.

Ryan and I decided to do a snorkeling excursion. We took death defying cab ride through the island of St. Thomas. By death defying I mean at one time Ryan and I looked at each other and thought we probably should have written out the will before we left for the trip. Any who, we ended up at some rental property where we hopped aboard a catamaran for a waving ride over to the snorkeling "spot".

The snorkeling was marvelous to say the least. There were lots of tropical fish and then seems to swim right up next to you. Oh wait...that was because our tour guide decided to throw in some fish bait so we could see the fish up close. Seriously you couldn't swim too fast or you would have ran into them.

It's the fun ship...Part 1

We started off on Saturday around 5 p.m. Bags in toe we headed up to the cities. We stopped off for a burger and Joe Sensor's and then off to the hotel for a good night's sleep. Except that it was not such a good night sleep. Come to find out that the 6 a.m. shuttle and the 5 a.m. shuttle were both booked, so we had to take the 4 a.m. shuttle to the airport in order to catch our 7 a.m. flight. So it was a short Saturday night, but a long Sunday morning.

Everything went great though. Our flight was perfect and getting through security to get on the ship was a breeze. We boarded the fun ship around 2 p.m. The first stop was the food court of course. Ryan and Dustin decided that it would be a good idea to sample the drink specials and after a couple hours of sampling the two were more then well on their way. It was quite comical.

Our first port was Nassau...which was awesome. We decided on the "Discover Atlantis" excursion and couldn't have had a better time. The four of us can't wait to go and spend a week or so at the resort.
